About The Position

Advanced Interiors is seeking a full-time designer/sales associate for their showroom to assist retail customers with home remodeling projects and builder/commercial clients with design selections. This role involves cross-training to support various design selection areas and showroom maintenance. The company is a leader in providing interior finishes to the residential new home market and also serves retail, remodeling, commercial, and multi-family markets, offering flooring, cabinetry, and stone fabrication services.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential interior design.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with design software such as Qfloors, 20/20, etc.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong time management and organization skills.
Computer skills.
Sales follow-up and relationship-building skills.
Ability to balance multiple jobs/tasks simultaneously.
Ability to lift 20 pounds repetitively.
Physically capable of performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of interior design, specifically color, materials, and finish coordination.
Cabinet planning/design skills.

Responsibilities

Assist customers in making educated selections for their homes and produce detailed quotations for project completion.
Manage the sales process from initial contact through final installation, payment, and closing documentation.
Maintain the showroom, displays, and related work areas.
Assist with cash and carry sales, merchandise pick-up, and general company knowledge.
Welcome customers and visitors, answer inquiries, transfer calls, and escort visitors.
Cross-train to assist in all areas of design selections and showroom maintenance as needed.
