About The Position

This is a seasonal position for a Retail Shipper Receiver / Sales Associate at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. The role involves managing incoming shipments, maintaining the stock room and sales floor, and assisting with sales as needed. The company operates stores in scenic Canadian locations and aims to provide guests with lasting memories.

Requirements

• Previous retail/warehouse experience is an asset.
• Demonstrates initiative to achieve goals and has a self-starter attitude.
• Physically fit to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to maintain the appearance of the store and stock room.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and climb stairs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and the Distribution Centre.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. Fairmont Stores is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verifying product against the packing slip and reporting any defects, breakages, or discrepancies to the Store Manager.
• Maintain an organized stock room by accurately putting away stock, stocking the sales floor, and communicating low product levels.
• Assist the Store Manager by covering the sales floor when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
