About The Position

Roofmart, Canada’s National distributor for Exterior Building Supply for Roofing, Siding, Metal and Building Envelope, is looking for Enthusiastic, Driven, Outside of the Box Thinkers to help grow their business. This role serves as the customer's first point of contact when they are shopping in-store or calling the branch. Responsibilities include picking, preparing, and loading purchased product onto the Company truck or customer's truck, as well as offloading and putting away delivered product. The position requires safe and efficient movement and storage of product, operating a lift truck, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. Excellent customer service and strong communication skills are essential.

Requirements

College diploma and/or 3 or more years of Warehouse and Forklift Experience
3 or more years of successful retail, business, accounting, or sales experience
Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100lbs repeatedly
Strong customer service skills
Authorized to work in Canada

Nice To Haves

Valid Forklift License (training can be provided)
Knowledge of the roofing industry

Responsibilities

Serve as the customer's first point of contact when shopping in-store or calling the branch.
Complete sales transactions, daily banking reconciliation reports, and purchasing.
Pick, prepare, and load purchased product onto the Company truck or customer's truck.
Offload and put away product that is delivered to the branch.
Ensure the safe and efficient movement and storage of product within the facility.
Lift 80lbs and operate a lift truck.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
Demonstrate excellent customer service and strong communication skills when interacting directly with customers.
