About The Position

Fairmont Stores is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate for its location at the Fairmont Empress. The company operates stores in scenic Canadian locations, including Quebec City, Banff, Lake Louise, and Victoria, with a Distribution Centre and Canadian Online Webstore in Canmore, Alberta. The primary goal is to serve guests visiting these properties and provide them with lasting memories. This role involves engaging with customers, meeting sales targets, and assisting with store operations.

Requirements

• Previous retail experience is an asset
• Demonstrates initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Physically fit to stand and walk for the duration of the shift, maintain appearance of the store, able to lift 25-40lbs and climb stairs
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. Fairmont Stores is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with customers and practicing the Fairmont Stores Selling Standards
• Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets
• Receive merchandise, assisting with organization of the Store
• Other duties as assigned
