About The Position

The Retail Seasonal Team Member delivers friendly customer service, helps customers find products and solutions, and provides a fast, friendly checkout experience. The role supports store operations through truck unloading, stocking, planogram work, merchandise recovery, in-stock optimization, and other maintenance duties. Team Members also support online-order fulfillment, customer engagement programs, safety and shrink initiatives, and compliance with company procedures. The position includes cross-training in Custom Framing sales and production, with additional duties as assigned.

This role is based in a public retail store. Public areas are climate controlled, while some stock rooms may not be. Some outdoor work may be required when retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks. The frame shop contains a glass cutter and heat press. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must satisfy applicable federal, state, and local legal requirements for the job.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and find solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience and handle cash according to standards.
• Engage customers about the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers about the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS) processes.
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including merchandise returns and general store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and ad set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow standard operating procedures and company programs, policies, and standards to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Interact with others respectfully, remain positive in difficult situations, promote the organization’s vision and values, and serve as a positive role model.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing sales and production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
