About The Position

ScanScape is hiring a permanent, part-time Retail Scan Associate to collect in-store product data at assigned local retailers. Associates visit designated stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable app on a mobile phone and provide quantities for about 45% of the products scanned.

The role averages 3–6 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional special-project work is frequently assigned, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, with higher demand from January through June. Custom Projects, requested by clients for more detailed information about products in main stocking locations, occur almost every week and may add 30 minutes to 2 hours per store. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and work independently. Stores are visited throughout the year for 52 weeks, including holiday weeks. The listed route includes a convenience store in New Castle, Pennsylvania, with available workdays Sunday through Thursday, and a mass merchandise store in Hermitage, Pennsylvania, with available workdays Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to remain on your feet for long periods and access products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
