About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit designated local retail stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. They use a downloadable mobile app to scan products and report quantities for about 45% of the products scanned. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

Associates complete weekly in-store data collections for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Display scanning takes place throughout the store and can take several hours. Custom Projects, requested frequently by clients to collect more specific product details in main stocking locations, can add 30 minutes to two hours of work per store in a given week. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and are expected to be dependable and quality-focused. The role offers independence and some flexibility in scheduling, with continuous physical activity throughout the workday.

This permanent part-time position averages 9–19 hours per week across assigned stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional project hours are frequently assigned, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, with higher demand from January through June. Full scheduling details are reviewed during the interview. The listed route includes grocery and mass merchandise stores in Levittown and Bensalem, Pennsylvania, with available workdays varying by store.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle and at least the minimum auto insurance coverage required by the state.
• Ability to remain on one’s feet for long periods and access products throughout a store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Tech savvy.
