About The Position

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to collect in-store data at assigned local retailers each week throughout the year, including holiday weeks. Associates visit designated stores and use a downloadable mobile phone app to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. They also report quantities for about 45% of the products scanned. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

The base workload averages 4–6 hours per week across all assigned stores, depending on store size and workload. Special projects are frequently assigned and typically add 1–2 hours per week per store, with higher demand from January through June. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and deliver accurate data. The role involves continuous physical activity and offers independence and some flexibility in working hours. Scheduling details are reviewed during the interview. The position is permanent and part-time.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.

Responsibilities
