About The Position

The Retail Scan Associate performs weekly in-store data collection at assigned local retailers for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Using a downloadable app on a mobile phone, associates scan barcodes throughout the store and provide quantity information for about 45% of the products scanned. The role includes weekly Display Scanning across the entire store, which may take several hours, along with Custom Projects requested by clients that occur almost every week and may add 1–2 hours per store. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and work independently. Base hours average 6–9 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional project hours are frequently assigned throughout the year, with higher demand from January through June. The position offers some flexibility in working hours, subject to store schedules and client requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
