About The Position

The Retail Scan Associate visits designated local retail stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable mobile-phone app to scan barcodes and provide quantities for about 45% of scanned products.

The position averages 8–10 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional special-project hours are frequently assigned, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, with higher demand from January through June. Display scanning takes place weekly and may take several hours per store; custom projects occur almost every week and may add 30 minutes to two hours per store. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and work independently. The route includes stores in Mountain View, Mountain Grove, and West Plains, with assigned available workdays by location. Work is scheduled throughout the year for 52 weeks, including holiday weeks, and involves continuous physical activity during shifts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach six feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
