About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retail stores each week to collect in-store product data. Using a downloadable mobile-phone app, associates scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations throughout the store, including end caps, and provide quantities for about 45% of scanned products. The data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

Associates complete display scanning across the entire store every week, which can take several hours, and may also perform Custom Projects that request more specific product details in primary stocking locations. These projects occur almost weekly and can add 30 minutes to two hours of work per store. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and perform work at assigned stores throughout the year, including holiday weeks.

This is a permanent part-time role with base hours averaging 6–11 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional project hours are frequently assigned, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, with higher demand from January through June. The role offers some scheduling flexibility and workplace independence, alongside continuous physical activity during shifts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
