About The Position

As a Retail Sales Specialist at Spectrum, you are the face of the company, promoting and selling its products and services to existing and new customers. The role focuses on enhancing the customer experience and fostering exceptional customer care in the store. Pay is $18 per hour base, with the potential to earn $22.50 per hour through commission and incentives. Employees can also receive free and discounted internet, TV, and mobile services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payment transactions.
• Comfort using personal technology, including mobile devices and video platforms, and proficiency with computer applications.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks, and handle change effectively.
• Familiarity with goal- and incentive-based work environments.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced team environment.
• Effective communication with employees and customers in person, on the phone, and in writing.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building partnerships across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the customer experience while meeting sales, service, and operational goals.
• Identify sales opportunities and create ideal customer experiences through product support and education.
• Build positive customer relationships, listen effectively, overcome objections, and communicate the value of Spectrum products.
• Maintain knowledge of Spectrum products, pricing, promotions, and visual standards while minimizing product losses.
• Maintain a welcoming store atmosphere and deliver a clean retail experience.
• Communicate effectively, adhere to policies, resolve issues, and participate in training programs.
