About The Position

Tommy's Express Car Wash is hiring a Retail Sales Specialist to provide guest service, promote sales and memberships, and help maintain the car wash facility. The role includes assisting guests with app and membership sign-ups, building customer relationships, participating in local marketing, and supporting an energetic, family-oriented team culture. The position is full-time, with 30–40 hours per week and required weekend shifts. Work takes place throughout a professional retail car wash facility, indoors and outdoors. Travel may be required for sales and marketing opportunities.

Requirements

Represent the brand positively and build trust and rapport with one-time and repeat customers.
Clearly explain services, memberships, and value propositions, adjusting the approach to different customer types and traffic levels.
Ensure accurate transactions and membership sign-ups.

Responsibilities

Coach and mentor the team to improve sales and membership sign-ups.
Coordinate and participate in local marketing campaigns.
Assist guests with app and membership sign-ups.
Host customer appreciation events.
Promote social media following and customer reviews.
Partner with local businesses to market Tommy’s.
Provide quick and friendly customer service to guests within the car wash and exceed guest expectations.
Create and retain customer relationships, including selling monthly wash packages.
Learn and operate POS and LPR systems to operate car wash equipment.
Help maintain wash equipment and perform routine care as needed.
Oversee property aesthetics and maintain cleanliness of the car wash interior, exterior, and grounds.
Monitor vehicle wash quality.
Exemplify and uphold the WE OWN IT culture.
