About The Position

The Eastwood Company is seeking a part-time Automotive Retail Sales Associate for their Pottstown location. This role is ideal for car enthusiasts, restorers, and weekend mechanics who enjoy sharing their knowledge and assisting fellow automotive DIYers with their projects. The associate will engage with customers, recommend tools and supplies, provide a positive in-store experience, demonstrate products, stock inventory, and maintain store organization. The position requires 20-30 hours per week, aligning with store hours which are weekdays from 8 AM to 6 PM and weekends from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Requirements

• Retail or customer service experience preferred
• Cashier experience
• Comfortable engaging with customers and solving problems
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn the POS system
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and retrieve items from shelves
• Ability to spend most of the shift standing or walking

Nice To Haves

• Automotive restoration or repair experience a plus (MIG/TIG welding, fabrication, bodywork, or use of Eastwood products)

Responsibilities

• Talk cars with customers and learn about their projects
• Recommend tools, supplies, and solutions to help customers succeed
• Provide a great in-store experience from greeting through checkout
• Demonstrate or explain Eastwood products when appropriate
• Receive and stock inventory
• Help keep the store organized, clean, and well stocked
• Work collaboratively with your retail team
