About The Position

Nordstrom Rack team members work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, collaborating to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere and provide customers with a quick, easy experience. Team members keep the store clean and clutter-free and may occasionally work in different store areas to maintain salesfloor and stockroom cleanliness and assist customers. Roles are available in Sales, Customer Service, Stock, and Fulfillment; applicants can discuss their preferred role during the interview process. Sales and Customer Service duties include keeping the salesfloor ready through re-merchandising and straightening; assisting customers with transactions across in-store, online, and mobile platforms; operating point-of-sale systems and handling and bagging merchandise; supporting fitting rooms; returning clothing to the salesfloor; organizing stockrooms and checking in and ticketing merchandise; using store technologies; following operational, merchandise, and asset-protection standards; and promoting Nordstrom Rewards. Stock Support and Fulfillment duties include receiving and processing freight and merchandise, fulfilling and shipping customer orders to quality standards, using inventory management systems to scan, process, and research shipments, maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms, and providing general store support such as preparing events, organizing the backroom, markdowns, and relocating fixtures. The role requires continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift and frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, reaching, and hand use. Team members handle merchandise, including bulky or awkward items, and regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Stock and Fulfillment team members frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. The hourly pay range is $17.10–$17.80, depending on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, completing markdowns, and relocating fixtures.
