About The Position

As a Merchandiser with Davidson Specialty Foods, you will help ensure local grocery stores have stocked shelves and can continue supplying consumers. The role involves daily travel to grocery stores and supermarkets within an assigned territory in the North Shore Boston Metro area. Mileage and travel are reimbursed, and transportation is required to get to and from work.

This is a full-time position scheduled five days per week, with flexible morning start times of 7 AM, 8 AM, or 9 AM. Weekend and holiday flexibility is required. Pay is $20.00–$22.00 per hour, with weekly pay. Paid training is provided.

Requirements

• Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers.
• Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs.
• Willingness to solicit customer feedback to improve service.
• Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
• Ability to read and interpret written information and comprehend simple instructions.
• Transportation to get to and from work.
• High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to local grocery stores and supermarkets in an assigned territory.
• Assist with new product display setups and reset existing displays.
• Pack out grocery orders when needed.
• Follow planograms to adjust shelves and move inventory.
• Clean, straighten, and organize shelves.
• Complete assigned work by its due dates.
• Respond to customer needs and solicit feedback to improve service.
