About The Position

The Retail Sales Floor Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate follows operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple areas to support business needs.

The role includes assisting with purchases and returns, promoting credit and loyalty programs, processing and preparing merchandise for the sales floor, and maintaining merchandising, recovery, cleanliness, and organization standards. Associates support store culture, safety awareness, and shrink reduction goals; follow applicable labor laws and company policies; and provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain the entire store.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
