Retail Sales Consultant
About The Position
The Retail Sales Consultant helps customers find the right products and services using a consultative sales approach on the sales floor. The role also contributes to the local community through events, fills online orders, and makes outbound calls to existing and potential customers. This is a fast-paced environment where flexibility and openness to change help the consultant stay current with evolving technology and customer needs. AT&T provides tools, training, and coaching to support employees in meeting and exceeding sales goals. The position has a schedule between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., including weekends. Monthly schedules based on seniority are available two weeks in advance. Weekly hours are 40. Starting pay is $14.42–$17.12, plus commissions; the posting states that consultants can earn $13,700 or more in commissions when all sales goals are met, with uncapped commissions and top sellers earning $62,460 per year. Individual starting salary within the range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education or training. The role is located at 14009 N US Highway 183 in Austin, Texas.
