About The Position

The Retail Sales Clerk's mission is to provide customers with basic needs that are a value to them and an asset to the company. The general purpose of the job is to assist customers with their basic needs in a professional business manner, following industry standards and the practices set forth by Aqua Pool & Patio and its supervisors.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret instructions, documents, safety guidelines, testing procedures, and their results.
• Ability to follow and give verbal/written instructions.
• Ability to communicate with others in a commonly understood manner.
• Basic math skills, including percentage, addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.

Responsibilities

• Assist customer(s) by greeting, answering phones, analyzing water, ringing up product, maintaining an accurate cash drawer, and logging associated paperwork (e.g., work orders/delivery orders).
• Provide basic knowledge of swimming pools and their essentials to customers.
• Maintain regular attendance as directed by your supervisor.
• Operate a safe and clean working environment.
• Maintain proper inventory by ringing out customers with correct product and returning unused product according to company policies.
• Maintain and operate company workstations courteously, safely, and professionally, obeying all rules.
• Maintain and operate all equipment safely and professionally for their intended use, reporting any faulty, unsafe, or deficient equipment to your supervisor.
