About The Position

Performs retail selling and clerical work. Receives and displays merchandise in retail store. Trains and directs retail clerks in ordering, receiving, sales, inventory, cash control and customer service functions.

Requirements

• Retail selling and clerical work experience.
• Experience in receiving and displaying merchandise.
• Ability to train and direct retail clerks in ordering, receiving, sales, inventory, cash control, and customer service functions.
• Ability to stock shelves, counters, and tables with merchandise.
• Ability to set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to promote sales.
• Ability to stamp, mark, and tag price on merchandise.
• Ability to obtain merchandise requested by customer or receive merchandise selected by customer.
• Ability to total merchandise price and tax to determine final bill amount.
• Ability to accept payment and make change.
• Ability to wrap and bag merchandise.
• Ability to remove and record amount of cash in register at end of shift.
• Ability to keep records of sales, prepare inventory, and order merchandise.
• Ability to keep showroom clean and orderly.
• Ability to answer customers' questions about merchandise location, price, and use.
• Ability to handle escalated customer service concerns.
• Compliance with sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment and perform job safely.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
