About The Position

Pet Food Express is seeking a sales-driven Retail Sales Associate to help pet parents find products and solutions for their pets. Sales Consultants proactively engage customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored recommendations using the Pet Food Express Whole Life Approach. They contribute to a friendly, informative shopping experience by educating customers, operating the register, stocking shelves, and supporting general store operations. The role includes regular training and product education, maintaining dependable attendance, cleaning the store, unloading shipments, and meeting physical demands such as lifting and carrying merchandise. Additional duties may be assigned.

• Ability to continuously stand, walk, bend, stretch, and perform repetitive motions throughout a shift.

Responsibilities

• Proactively approach and engage customers and their pets.
• Ask questions to understand customer needs and build lasting relationships.
• Use the Pet Food Express Whole Life Approach to make tailored product recommendations.
• Participate in daily training and ongoing educational programs to improve product knowledge and sales skills.
• Stay informed about new products, promotions, and the pet community.
• Educate customers on product benefits and help address their pets’ unique needs.
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Operate the cash register and provide a friendly checkout experience.
• Unload shipments and stock the store.
• Clean and maintain the store, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning pet messes as needed.
• Perform additional duties assigned to support store operations.
