As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn what customers need, provide personalized recommendations, connect them with appropriate products and services, and work toward sales goals through customer engagement and effective selling behaviors. You help make each visit meaningful, build customer trust and loyalty, and contribute to a clean, organized, inviting shopping space. The role is focused on customer service and selling, not solely cashiering. At the start of the day, colleagues prepare the sales floor, review goals, and learn about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions. During the day, they welcome customers, build relationships through friendly conversations, maintain shoppable merchandise and displays, process damages and vendor returns, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. Colleagues also share loyalty-program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and close interactions with a sincere thank-you. They collaborate with teammates, strive to improve, and work toward individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
