About The Position

AutoZone store teams deliver customer service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintaining well-stocked inventory, and providing product advice. The Senior Retail Sales Associate role supports sales and store operations while creating a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. The associate provides customer assistance, contributes to team leadership and performance, manages inventory, follows safety procedures, helps customers with certain installations, and uses diagnostic tools to support automotive recommendations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow cash-handling and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
