About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintaining inventory, and offering product guidance. The Retail Sales Associate supports sales and store operations while fostering a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. The role includes engaging with customers, recommending products and services, keeping merchandise organized, and helping customers with select vehicle installations and diagnostics.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous automotive retail experience.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated and productive store environment.
Support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
Restock merchandise and maintain store organization.
Follow proper cash-handling procedures and loss-prevention policies.
Use established processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment.
Maintain knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
Use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions.
Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
