Individuals performing this job provide extraordinary shopping experiences to guests and stock merchandise. This role involves maintaining uniform standards, demonstrating superior product knowledge, and engaging with guests in a friendly and helpful manner. Key responsibilities include recommending merchandise, answering guest questions, building client relationships, and potentially operating a cash register or assisting with receiving. The position also requires preparing promotional events, setting up displays, fronting merchandise, rotating stock, and maintaining a neat and orderly sales floor and back stock. Cleaning duties, maintaining price tags, and providing feedback to management on product movement and stock levels are also part of the role. Employees will assist with inventory preparation and processes, and properly use and maintain computer and RF scanner equipment. Continuous improvement of skills and knowledge is encouraged to contribute to profitability and productivity. Adherence to safety regulations and company policies regarding conversations with coworkers and cell phone use is expected. The role requires fulfilling responsibilities with care, attention to detail, teamwork, cooperation, time management, and the ability to manage stress in a fast-paced environment. Physical demands include regularly standing, lifting, carrying, walking, bending, and reaching products weighing 50 pounds or more, with occasional lifting up to 100 pounds or more, and pushing/pulling 50-100 pounds or more. Communication and understanding team members and guests, and clear vision are also essential. Other projects and tasks assigned by management, including potential bathroom cleaning, are part of the job. Attendance and timeliness are required.
