About The Position

DICK’S Sporting Goods is hiring a Retail Sales Associate for footwear. Store teammates create an exceptional shopping experience through helpful service, product knowledge, high brand and execution standards, and effective prioritization. The role supports customers and the store team while maintaining merchandising, safety, and operational standards.

Requirements

Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience is preferred.
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and repeatedly lift items weighing 15 to 35 pounds, up to 25 times per hour.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, up to four hours.
Ability to work at heights greater than four feet using a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods, up to two hours continuously.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and proactively learn about their needs to support their shopping experience.
Follow merchandising and presentation standards, including floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment.
Promote company programs, such as customer loyalty participation, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
Follow safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, and maintain the confidentiality of company information.
Help create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome, safe, and respected.
Support the team across the store as needed.
Perform other tasks assigned by management.
