Footwear Sales Associate [JBR]
About The Position
Jax Outdoor Gear and Farm & Ranch is hiring a Footwear Sales Associate at its Broomfield location. The role involves helping customers find suitable footwear by answering questions about product quality, fit, and function, offering informed recommendations, and locating specific brands or items. Product training, pro-deals, and an employee discount help associates build product knowledge and provide expert guidance. Sales Associates support day-to-day department operations by greeting customers, processing payments, stocking shelves, keeping the area clean and organized, assisting with displays and visual merchandising, and helping with inventory and loss prevention. They also share customer feedback with their manager and contribute to teamwork and positive working relationships. Weekend availability is required; flexible shifts are available the rest of the week. Part-time positions are available.
Requirements
- Prior customer service experience is desired.
- Cashiering experience is desired.
- Computer proficiency is required.
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Must be willing to pitch in where needed.
- Must demonstrate an engaging, positive approach and enthusiasm for quality footwear.
- Must work well with others and have organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Prior knowledge of or experience with brands carried by JAX.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide outstanding service.
- Answer customer questions honestly and informatively about footwear quality, fit, and function.
- Recommend products and help customers locate specific brands or items.
- Accurately process payments and assist with cashiering.
- Stock shelves and maintain a clean, tidy, and well-stocked department.
- Assist with displays and visual merchandising.
- Learn about products to better answer customer questions.
- Assist with loss prevention efforts.
- Communicate professionally and relay customer feedback to the manager.
- Contribute to teamwork and develop positive working relationships with co-workers.
- Assist with inventory responsibilities.
