About The Position

Pet Food Express is seeking a sales-driven Retail Sales Associate to help pet parents find products and solutions for their pets. Sales Consultants are central to the business, engaging customers, recommending products, operating the register, stocking shelves, and contributing to a friendly, informative shopping experience. The role includes product training and education, reliable attendance, shipment unloading, store cleaning, and other duties as assigned. It has physical requirements including heavy lifting and frequent movement throughout a shift.

Responsibilities

• Proactively approach and engage with customers and their pets.
• Ask questions to understand customer needs and build lasting relationships.
• Use the Pet Food Express Whole Life Approach to provide tailored product recommendations.
• Participate in daily training and ongoing educational programs to improve product knowledge and sales skills.
• Stay informed about new products, promotions, and the pet community.
• Educate customers on product benefits and help address their pets’ needs.
• Maintain reliable attendance and arrive on time.
• Operate the cash register and provide a friendly checkout experience.
• Unload shipments and stock the store.
• Clean and maintain the store, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning pet messes as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support store operations.
