About The Position
AutoZone store teams provide customer service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintaining inventory, and supporting store operations. The Retail Sales Associate engages with customers, offers automotive product guidance, contributes to sales goals, and helps maintain a positive and knowledgeable retail environment. The role includes assisting with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations, using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes, and recommending solutions. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
- Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated and productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock merchandise and maintain store organization.
- Follow cash handling and loss prevention procedures and support proper financial management.
- Complete assigned tasks using structured processes and help keep store operations running smoothly.
- Follow company safety policies and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
- Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
- Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
