About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service by helping customers find parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Store employees maintain stocked inventory, assist with product selection, and offer advice while supporting sales, store operations, and a knowledgeable retail environment.

The Senior Retail Sales Associate delivers WOW! Customer Service, exceeds customer expectations, and supports customers with automotive parts and sales. The role contributes to a positive store environment and offers opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous automotive retail experience.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain organization, follow cash-handling and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions.
