About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams are the frontline of WOW! customer service, helping customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Store employees maintain well-stocked inventory, assist with product selection, and provide automotive advice while supporting sales, store operations, and a positive retail environment. In this role, you will deliver WOW! Customer Service, exceed customer expectations, and contribute to a knowledgeable, productive store team. The position also offers opportunities for growth in an essential industry serving the motoring public.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a flexible full-time schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures, and support smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks using company processes and follow safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
