About The Position

Provides an engaging customer experience through friendly and efficient service. Demonstrates excellent customer service, provides product knowledge to the customer, and maintains the stores appearance. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. This position is currently hiring for the Patagonia and Logo Stores.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Effective communication (oral & written).
• Strong customer service & safety awareness.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Neat and clean appearance per company standards.
• Punctuality.
• Teamwork.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Stand for up to 8 hours a day.
• Must be capable of walking or standing 80% or more of a normal 8 hour work shift.
• Must be capable of occasionally carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling up to 25lbs.
• Must capable of occasionally squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and balancing, able to climb ladders and shovel snow.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-3 months of customer service or related experience.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of North Face, Oakley, Patagonia, and ski/snowboard brands
• POS system experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-quality customer service at all times.
• Greet customers promptly and courteously.
• Assist customers in locating items.
• Identify customer needs and provide appropriate service.
• Offer accurate product information.
• Operate the cash register accurately.
• Restock products as needed.
• Perform merchandising tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
