As a Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create standout shopping experiences. You understand customers’ needs, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with appropriate products and services. Through warmth, product knowledge, and customer engagement, you build trust, meet sales targets, and inspire customer loyalty. You also help keep the shopping area clean, organized, and inviting. Colleagues prepare for the day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions, and ensuring the sales floor is ready for customers. During the day, they welcome customers, build relationships, maintain the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, support merchandise moves, share loyalty program benefits, and provide a thoughtful customer checkout experience. They collaborate with teammates, strive to improve, and contribute to individual and store results. Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled for 30 or more hours per week. Schedules include weekend shifts, and hours depend on business needs and colleague availability. The position requires flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, along with dependable attendance and punctuality. Physical duties include talking, lifting, moving, standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. The role also involves using computers and other technology, handheld equipment, and a cash register to process transactions.
