About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintain well-stocked inventory, and support store sales and operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers WOW! Customer Service by assisting customers with automotive needs, recommending appropriate products and services, and contributing to a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. The role also supports day-to-day store operations, product merchandising, safety, and sales performance.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated and productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow cash-handling and loss-prevention policies, and help keep store operations running smoothly.
• Complete assigned tasks using structured processes and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions.
