About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. Retail Sales Associates assist with product selection and automotive advice, maintain inventory, support sales and store operations, and contribute to a positive retail environment. This role focuses on delivering WOW! Customer Service, exceeding customer expectations, and supporting customers with automotive needs. Associates may assist with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations and use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time, flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and help create a motivated, productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain organization, follow cash-handling and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks and follow safety policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
