About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service by helping customers find parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Store employees maintain inventory, assist with product selection, and provide automotive advice while supporting sales and store operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers customer service, contributes to a positive team environment, and helps customers with automotive products and services. The position involves assisting with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations, as well as using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow cash-handling and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks using established processes and follow safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
