About The Position

As a full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate, you will work with a retail team to drive sales and help customers find technology products and services that meet their needs. You will learn about customers by building connections and asking questions, recommend complete solutions, and use clear communication to close sales. The role also includes ongoing training and development in store operations, merchandising, and inventory. You may contact interested Verizon customers by phone or text and participate in Verizon-sponsored events outside the store to build customer relationships. The position is onsite at a defined work location, with 40 scheduled hours per week. Pay is $16.00 to $21.00 per hour in base pay, plus individual sales commissions; compensation varies by geography, hours worked, and performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; schedules are provided four weeks in advance.
• Openness to pick up additional shifts, typically during summer, November through December, and/or peak vacation periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales through technology knowledge and customer service.
• Build customer connections, identify needs, and ask relevant questions.
• Recommend products and solutions that address customer needs.
• Close sales through effective communication and intuitive technology solutions.
• Participate in ongoing training and develop skills in store operations, merchandising, and inventory.
• Place outbound calls and send text messages to interested Verizon customers to develop the customer base.
• Engage with the community at off-site Verizon-sponsored events.
