About The Position

The Retail Sales Associate at Vuori builds connections with customers and communicates the brand’s values through product knowledge and an upbeat, optimistic approach. The role provides attentive customer service, supports sales goals in a team-based commission environment, contributes to store operations and inventory management, and maintains the store’s merchandising and visual standards. This is a seasonal position in Manhasset, with a seasonal start date of November 16, 2026, and an end date of January 17, 2027.

Responsibilities

Create a memorable customer experience and build lasting relationships with customers.
Work with the sales team to provide excellent customer service and greet customers in a timely, authentic, and engaging manner.
Prepare fitting rooms, find sizes, and provide knowledgeable feedback on merchandise style and fit.
Achieve sales goals in a team-based commission environment.
Develop product knowledge, including knowledge of the broader fashion landscape and activewear, to serve customers as an expert.
Assist with projects while keeping the customer experience a priority.
Communicate inventory needs to support business goals and collaborate with management on inventory management.
Ensure the sales floor is stocked each evening.
Clean the store regularly, including floors and bathrooms.
Understand and execute cash-control procedures, including bank deposits and petty cash.
Assist with implementing and maintaining merchandising and visual directives.
Keep the selling floor neat, clean, organized, and aligned with the correct visual image.
Identify and communicate product concerns in a timely manner.
