About The Position

The Retail Sales Associate at Vuori builds connections with customers and communicates the brand’s values through product knowledge and an optimistic, engaging approach. The role contributes to a memorable customer experience, develops customer relationships, supports team sales goals, and helps customers find suitable products and sizes. The associate also supports store operations, including stocking and organizing the sales floor, inventory management, cleaning, cash-control procedures, and maintaining merchandising and visual standards. This is a seasonal position in Manhasset, with a seasonal start date of November 16, 2026, and end date of January 17, 2027. The position requires availability for nights, weekends, and holidays and involves active work throughout the store.

Responsibilities

Create an unforgettable customer experience and build lasting customer relationships.
Work with the sales team to provide customers with excellent service.
Greet customers in a timely, authentic, and engaging manner.
Prepare fitting rooms, locate sizes, and provide knowledgeable feedback on merchandise style and fit.
Achieve sales goals in a team-based commission environment.
Develop product knowledge in fashion and activewear to serve as a customer resource.
Assist with projects while maintaining a focus on the customer experience.
Communicate inventory needs to support business goals.
Stock the sales floor every evening and collaborate with management on inventory management.
Clean the retail store regularly, including floors and bathrooms.
Understand and execute cash-control procedures, including bank deposits and petty cash.
Assist with implementing and maintaining merchandising and visual directives.
Keep the selling floor neat, clean, organized, and aligned with the correct visual image.
Identify and communicate product concerns promptly.
