About The Position

As a Retail Selling Colleague at Macy’s, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create standout shopping experiences. You learn customers’ needs, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with appropriate products and services. Through customer engagement, product knowledge, and smart selling behaviors, you work toward sales goals, build trust, and encourage customer loyalty. You also help keep the sales floor and fitting rooms clean, organized, and inviting. During the day, they welcome customers, build personal connections, recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and close interactions with a sincere thank-you. Colleagues support one another and work collaboratively to improve individual and store results. This is a part-time role. Part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12–24 hours per week; schedules include weekend shifts, and hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
