About The Position
Skechers is hiring an entry-level Sales Associate, also known as a Product Specialist, to support customers and store operations. The role focuses on providing personalized product advice and exceptional customer service, contributing to sales goals, maintaining merchandise and displays, handling transactions, and collaborating with the store team. Associates learn about Skechers products and receive on-the-job training in retail sales, customer service, and cashier duties. The position offers opportunities for growth within Skechers. The hourly pay range is $19.00–$20.16, with a starting rate of $19.00. The role requires standing for most of a shift and occasionally lifting and carrying shoes and boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. A flexible schedule and evening and weekend availability are required.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
- Be eager to provide excellent customer service in an entry-level retail role.
- Be driven to meet and exceed retail sales goals.
- Be reliable and detail-oriented, and comfortable with cashier responsibilities.
- Be able to work a flexible schedule with evening and weekend availability.
- Represent the Skechers brand with energy, enthusiasm, and a sense of urgency.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent; preferred but not required.
- Experience in retail sales, customer service, or cashier roles; a plus but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers and provide personalized advice on Skechers products.
- Contribute to store and individual retail sales goals.
- Organize displays, restock shelves, and manage merchandise to maintain the store.
- Lift and carry shoes and boxes as needed, including occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Process customer payments accurately and perform cashier duties.
- Stay informed about Skechers footwear, apparel, and accessories and share product details with customers.
- Collaborate with coworkers to create an inviting store environment that reflects Skechers brand and company standards.
