About The Position

North 40 Outfitters is hiring a full-time Sporting Good/Gun Counter Lead in Omak, Washington. The role contributes to the customer experience through outstanding service, generating sales and recommending products, stocking and merchandising, maintaining a clean and organized department, leading and developing a team, and safeguarding company assets. The lead is expected to maintain gun-counter compliance while leading the team.

The position requires availability for scheduled shifts during business hours of Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Shifts may include weekends and certain holidays, with scheduling flexibility based on business needs. The role involves spending all work time on your feet and handling merchandise and equipment as described in the physical requirements.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old to work around firearms.
• Experience and knowledge of firearms, shooting, scopes, ammunition, reloading, and accessories are required.
• Ability to check and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Ability to work independently or in a group setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively and engage with individuals regularly.

• Availability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and certain holidays, with flexibility based on business needs.
