About The Position

EZCORP is hiring a Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service Team Member (Pawnbroker) for its EZPawn store in Enid, Oklahoma. The role offers a structured career path, beginning with a five-week paid training program. Upon completion, trainees receive a $0.50-per-hour raise and promotion to Pawnbroker. Employees may continue into the Pawnbroker Certification Program for an additional $1 per hour, pursue promotion to Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Leader), and apply for Assistant Manager, which includes a six-month training program. The position pays $13.50 to $14.50 per hour based on experience, with monthly uncapped bonuses based on store and individual performance.

The associate serves customers in a fast-paced retail environment, helping with sales and negotiating mutually satisfying agreements for pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, and musical instruments. The role also includes processing sales, loans, and extensions, as well as opening and closing store duties. Employees are expected to provide friendly, courteous, and respectful service in person and by phone.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Customer service, cashier, or retail experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask.
• Self-motivation, a positive and outgoing personality, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test after a conditional offer.
