About The Position

The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Nashville is seeking a polished, engaging, and sales-driven Retail Sales Associate to join their team. This position plays an important role in creating an elevated and personalized shopping experience for guests while representing the sophisticated standards of the Perla retail shop and The Joseph. The ideal candidate has a natural hospitality heart, enjoys building genuine connections with guests, and has the confidence to make thoughtful product recommendations that enhance the guest experience. This role combines luxury service, retail sales, product knowledge, and inventory management in a beautiful, guest-focused environment.

Requirements

Previous retail, luxury retail, hospitality, spa, beauty, fashion, or guest service experience preferred.
Strong sales ability with a genuine passion for connecting guests with products that meet their needs.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Professional, polished, and approachable presence.
Ability to provide highly personalized service while maintaining discretion and attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage inventory and merchandise.
Comfortable working independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
Ability to learn product details quickly and confidently communicate recommendations to guests.
Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional luxury customer service while creating a warm, welcoming, and personalized experience for every guest.
Engage with guests to understand their individual preferences, interests, and needs.
Drive retail sales through thoughtful product recommendations, storytelling, and personalized guest engagement.
Develop strong knowledge of Perla's merchandise and confidently communicate product features, benefits, and unique qualities.
Build meaningful guest relationships that encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.
Maintain and manage inventory, including receiving merchandise, organizing products, monitoring stock levels, and assisting with inventory counts.
Ensure merchandise is properly displayed, organized, replenished, and presented according to luxury retail standards.
Maintain a polished, clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment that reflects the elevated standards of Perla and The Joseph.
Accurately process guest purchases and follow established cash-handling and point-of-sale procedures.
Partner with hotel and departmental teams to create seamless and memorable guest experiences.
Maintain professional grooming, appearance, and communication standards consistent with a luxury hospitality environment.
Perform additional duties as needed to support the success of Perla and The Joseph.
