About The Position

North 40 Outfitters is hiring a full-time Receiving Associate in Mead, Washington. The role is responsible for the accurate, timely, and safe movement of merchandise from its arrival on a truck through placement on the sales floor. It requires attention to detail and the ability to use multiple computer programs. The position involves working scheduled shifts during store business hours, with flexibility based on business needs; shifts may include weekends and certain holidays.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old and able to become forklift certified.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining detailed and focused.
Familiarity with computers and various programs.
Ability to take initiative, embrace change, and learn new things.
Dependability and ability to meet the expectations of the role.
Good communication skills and ability to engage effectively with individuals regularly.
Ability to multitask and prioritize.
Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques.
Physical ability to lift and carry 0–25 lbs. continuously, 25–45 lbs. frequently, and 45–65 lbs. occasionally; team lift items over 65 lbs.
Ability to spend 100% of work time on your feet, including using ladders, rolling staircases, and pallet jacks.
Ability to work scheduled shifts during business hours Monday–Saturday, 7 a.m.–8 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; flexibility may be needed based on business needs.
