As a Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-focused selling with genuine hospitality to create standout shopping experiences. You identify customer needs, offer personalized recommendations, and connect customers with suitable products and services. Through product knowledge, customer engagement, and smart selling behaviors, you work toward sales goals, build trust, and inspire customer loyalty. You also help keep the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting. Colleagues prepare for the day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals, popular items, trends, and promotions, and making sure the sales floor is ready for customers. During the day, they welcome customers, build personal relationships, maintain the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, support merchandise moves, explain loyalty program benefits, and provide a sincere closing interaction. Teamwork, continuous improvement, and delivering individual and store results are important parts of the role. Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled for 30 or more hours per week. Schedules include weekend shifts, and hours depend on business needs and colleague availability. The position requires flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include frequent movement and standing, lifting at least 25 pounds, reaching, and other physical activities. The role also involves using computers, handheld equipment, and cash registers to process transactions.
