As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-focused selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, provide personalized recommendations, and connect them with relevant products and services. You engage customers on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, use product knowledge and smart selling behaviors to meet sales goals, and help build customer trust and loyalty. This role is more than cashiering: customer service and achieving sales goals are central to the work. You also help maintain a clean, organized, inviting, and shoppable sales floor. Typical duties include preparing the floor for customers, learning about new arrivals, popular items, trends, and promotions, merchandising new receipts, processing damages and selected merchandise returns to vendors, updating signs and prices, and supporting merchandise moves. You share loyalty program benefits, help customers complete their shopping, and provide a sincere farewell. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week. Actual hours depend on business needs and colleague availability. Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required, along with dependable attendance and punctuality.
