About The Position
The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and applying customer experience principles. The role helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment; follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards; and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The associate supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and gives and receives recognition and constructive feedback. The position is seasonal and temporary. Retail customer experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
