About The Position
The Retail Cleaning Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, with a focus on floor care. Duties include operating floor scrubbers and buffers, dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot-cleaning glass and windows. The associate upholds operational, merchandising, loss-prevention, health, and safety standards and is cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role also supports customer experience practices, store recovery, organization, and front-end coverage. Associates communicate with management and colleagues, follow company policies and labor requirements, and help maintain a safe, positive store environment. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements

- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate a floor buffer and scrubber.

Responsibilities
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Maintain floor-care cleanliness standards, including operating and maintaining the scrubber and buffer.
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards throughout the store, including the sales floor, single queue, associate lounge, backroom, and restrooms.
- Follow company health and safety policies, including refilling essential items in the lounge, restrooms, and front end.
- Cross-train and work in other store areas, including the backroom, front end, and sales floor.
- Support and respond to front-end coverage needs.
- Follow merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Follow operational and loss-prevention controls, including shrink-reduction guidelines and policies.
- Communicate accurately and effectively with management and associates.
- Follow labor laws and company policies and procedures, including meal and break-period policies.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
