About The Position

The Retail Sales Associate at Sunglass Hut provides exceptional customer service, builds strong client relationships, and works to achieve sales targets. The associate maintains in-depth knowledge of Sunglass Hut products, brands, warranties, optical add-on features, trends, and styles in order to make personalized recommendations. The role is in a Sunglass Hut shop-in-shop located inside a Bass Pro store and supports a seamless customer experience across in-store and online services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in eyewear and/or luxury retail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
• Collaborative, adaptable, supportive, respectful, and open to feedback.
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, including the ability to identify issues, evaluate solutions, and implement effective strategies.
• Ability to manage workload pressure.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating a POS system.
• Luxury sales or eyewear industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure clients have a memorable shopping experience.
• Stay current on industry trends and product knowledge, attending required training sessions and workshops.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the brand, warranties, and optical add-on features.
• Build and maintain client relationships in-store and through follow-up communication.
• Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets through upselling and cross-selling.
• Assist with minor adjustments and repairs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and back-of-house environment.
• Provide omnichannel support to ensure a seamless customer service experience across online and in-store platforms.
• Understand and follow all brand policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
